Terminal Update Terminal entrance canopy site preparation has commenced between the parking garage and the terminal. The Hudson News Store on the lower level is completed and open. Temporary construction walls have been installed on the lower level to allow for demolition of the old Hudson Store and prepare the building for escalator installation and a new passenger greeting area. Baggage Claim #3 will be out of service during this time. Restroom renovations post-security are nearing completion.

Terminal/Security/Gate Update Allegiant Airlines ticketing counter has moved to the west between JetBlue Airways and American Airlines.  Air Canada has moved to the east side of passenger lobby between United Airlines and Southwest. Temporary construction walls will be installed near the checkpoint to allow for checkpoint expansion to begin.

Security Update Passenger Security Checkpoint construction project has commenced.

Parking Update All parking lots remain open. The new ROC Airport Smart Phone Lot is open and operating.

Traffic & Pedestrian Pattern Updates Beginning next week, a temporary road closure will be in effect for ALL lower level, outer roadway traffic.  The road closure will be posted and detour signs will direct all vehicles that normally use this roadway to us an alternate traffic pattern during this time.  This roadway closure is necessary for the beginning phase of construction for the terminal entrance canopy.  Detour signage will be posted for traffic flow, pedestrian movement and ground transportation vendors.  Appropriate way finding signage will be posted throughout the terminal to assist passengers to ground transportation locations and parking facilities.

Bid opportunities currently available for the project can be reviewed at the Monroe County Purchasing website.
