New Food & Beverage Concession Serves Local Favorites, Taste of NY Products
Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo today hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and announced the grand opening of the new locally owned and operated food concession Taste of Rochester at the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC). This new concession serves passengers an array of options known best for their Rochester roots and is the latest improvement completed as part of the ongoing ROC Renovation project.
“One of the best parts of our job-creating ROC Renovation Project is that it will incorporate the sights, sounds, and now ‘tastes’ of Rochester for our visitors to enjoy,” said Dinolfo. “I am thrilled that Taste of Rochester will offer some of our community’s most iconic foods, like Tahou’s Garbage Plates, Salvatore’s pizza, and Abbott’s custard, just to make a few. From our exciting Strong Museum of Play areas to our new Taste of Rochester restaurant, our new and improved ROC airport will showcase Monroe County’s commitment to growing more jobs, building better budgets, and supporting stronger families across our community.”
There are twenty-five Rochester area restaurants and food product companies participating in Taste of Rochester. Combined, these establishments have served the Greater Rochester community for over 1,000 years.
Offerings include: Abbott’s, Flour City Pasta, Salvatore’s Pizza, Amazing Grains Breads, Glenn Edith Coffee, Small World Food, Antonetta’s/ Meatball Truck, Gugliemo’s Sauce, Smoke Shack, Balsam Bagels, Monks’ Specialty Bakery, Sticky Lips BBQ, Boss Sauce, Nathan’s Soup & Salad, Tapas 177, Captain Jim’s Fish Market, Nick Tahou Garbage Plates, Taste of NY, Cheesy Eddie’s Cheesecake, Palmer Food Services, The Distillery, Easthill Creamery, Artizan Cheeze, Pepsi Cola, Zwiegles, Fee Brothers and Red Osier Beef

Taste of Rochester has also been designated as the official Taste of NY store at ROC Airport. The Taste of NY program is part of the state-wide program that highlights the quality, diverse and economic impact of food and beverages grown, produced or processed in the state. Taste of Rochester is located west of the passenger security checkpoint in the main food court.
