Hudson News Opens on Lower Level

The newly relocated Hudson News Store has opened on the lower level of the ROC Airport terminal.

The in-line shop is located near the center of the baggage claim and will be conveniently located across from the new passenger greeting area which will be under construction soon and is anticipated to open fall of next year.

The brand will also be opening a new Hudson Store post-security in the center of the food court as part of the ongoing terminal renovations.

Hudson News has been operating at ROC since 1999.

The Greater Rochester International Airport is currently undergoing a $54 million revitalization program to transform and enhance the terminal to create a better passenger experience and help drive the economic engine in Monroe County.  Construction at the Airport is underway and in the coming days and weeks it will be necessary for exhibits like the Clock of Nations, The Brass Tree, the Vintage Control Tower and the three hanging model aircraft to be removed from the demolition area to protect them from dust and debris.

Today, County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced the start of construction on a new Smart Phone lot. This new parking lot at the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) will allow friends and family picking up arriving passengers to have a convenient place to park before arriving at the terminal and will improve security around the terminal by reducing the number of vehicles circling the airport roadways.
